Maritime Hashtag Minute – Sunday 7th July 2024

Each week, Ben Hopkinson looks back at what’s happened the past 7 days and what was trending on Twitter with the Maritime Hashtag Minute. This week’s #MaritimeHashtagMinute was #ElectionDay. Of course the country went down to the polling stations on Thursday, with the eventual winning party being Labour with 412 seats, compared to the Conservative’s 121.

The only thing I’ll say about #Elections2024 is that there are two parties I believe in and can get behind, and neither of them will have the majority tomorrow.

But the point is, if you don’t vote, you can’t complain. So regardless of the numbers, vote for who you believe in!
