This Labour majority is set to be the second largest since World War 2.

The tiredness had begun to settle in here at Maritime Radio... We've given Andy a clock so he stops talking too much!

"And just like that - ballot boxes from the 96 polling stations across the borough are being returned. The teams of Count Staff will now verify the ballot box votes." - via the London Borough of Bexley's Facebook. The results from Bexleyheath and Crayford are expected around 3AM!

The SNP's deputy leader Kate Forbes has admitted that if the exit poll is correct then it will be a "very difficult night for the SNP", and this has been a "change election," to bring an end to the Tories.

Tory defeat could be the worst seen since 1900.

Nigel Farage, Reform UK leader, states "our vote share so far is almost unbelievable."

Liberal Democrats gain their first seat of the night as they take Harrogate & Knaresborough and similarly with Conservatives, as they hold Rayleigh and Wickford. Although, the Tory drop in Rayleigh and Wickford is their biggest ever.

Lee Anderson has won his seat in Ashfield, making him the first Reform MP of the night.
