The extension and refurbishments to Plumstead Library have been recognised by a top London architecture award.
The New London Awards Experiencing Culture category gave the project a Highly Commended rating for its “sensitive refurbishment of a grade II listed building” transforming it into “a new civic anchor for the local community”.
The project was also praised for its “very good” commitment to sustainability.
