Out-of-work airline crews are volunteering to care for staff at Lewisham and Greenwich hospitals.
Under the nationwide Wingman Scheme, crews from British Airways, Easyjet and Norwegian arrived at the hospitals this week. They will be using their training in compassionate listening and stress reduction to offer a refuge for overstretched NHS staff during the pandemic.
