Inclusive Stories Box

Brooklyn Sijuade from Inclusive Stories Box dropped by to tell us more about a monthly subscription box that support neurodiverse children through diverse stories and sensory play, passionately inspired by her own experience.

The books featured in the box are carefully selected to represent diverse characters and experiences. By reading stories about people who are different from them, neurodivergent children can learn empathy and understanding for others.

The boxes also include sensory toys, chosen to help develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and spatial awareness. They also provide a calming and soothing effect for children who may be easily overwhelmed by sensory input.

Brooklyn was inspired to create the boxes from her own experience raising children with autism and told Duncan more on Greenwich Breakfast.
